Claflin University is a 4-year, private not-for-profit historically black university (HBCU) located in Orangeburg, South Carolina. Founded in 1869, it is the oldest HBCU in the state and is affiliated with the United Methodist Church. The university offers over 35 undergraduate majors and concentrations, as well as master’s degrees in select fields, across the following schools:
